I complained to management the other day about the couple of crickets I found in my apartment. At my old place I would have been happy to let an ecosystem evolve, but I'm full of new-apartment zeal now I guess. Well, today I come back home to find this note waiting:
Your residence was treated today for Scorpions. Our Technician used a combination of residual dusts and/or sprays on the exterior of your structure and in the interior of your unit. You may see increased activity of Scorpions over the next several weeks. Insecticide uptake by the Scorpions is slow due to their very hard and thick exoskeleton.
Emphasis mine. Scary capitalization not mine. I'm not making this up.
Oh well, maybe the Scorpions will eat the crickets :)
