root# echo valleywag.com >> /etc/hosts
I don't want to click on that tome of filth even accidentally.

If there's ever been a website that's made me question even for a moment if unfettered free speech is a good thing, it's this one.

Is there an easy way to block a site within firefox?

If you use Adblock, just filter the whole domain away. If you don't, start using it. ;)

Strange, I blocked whole sites with it before, but now when I tried I got the same as you. Maybe I had Adblock Plus or something like that before, when I tried that. I honestly don't remember.

I suspect you can block with a Seamonkey script without any trouble, if you can't use the hosts solution.
